Games I have been playing lately

Cult of the Lamb Curse cover

Cult of the Lamb

I'm loving this game. Charming art and entertaining gameplay. Got pretty hooked into it.

The Swords of Ditto: Mormo's Curse cover

The Swords of Ditto: Mormo's Curse

Incredible art. I really enjoyed the first 10 hours of the game, but got a little bit bored after that. In my opinion it would have been a pretty solid game if it didn't have the roguelike component.

Die in the Dungeon: Origins cover

Die in the Dungeon: Origins

Turn-based roguelike game where you place dices. It's free because this is like a demo. Full game coming out in 2024. Very fun and addicting!

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX cover

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX

Remaster of this classic game. Like all retro games, difficult and the controls somewhat frustrating, but the developers have included additional options such as making the hitboxes more "fair" or infinite lives. You can switch to the old graphical version at any time during the gameplay.

Deepest Chamber: Resurrection cover

Deepest Chamber: Resurrection

Game inspired by Slay The Spire. If you like STL I recommend you to try this one too.

The Last Stand Legacy Collection cover

The Last Stand Legacy Collection

A compilation of flash games that I didn't play at the time. They are good to spend a fun afternoon. It's true that the third one, The Last Stand: Union City, has some bugs and sometimes the frame rate is awful.

Yet Another Zombie Survivors cover

Yet Another Zombie Survivors

The title is quite descriptive. A dopamine bomb like all games of this style. Perfect game to kill time.

Andromeda Survivors cover

Andromeda Survivors

Clone of Vampire Survivors but with spaceships. You can complete 100% in 5 hours or so. The auto-aim is a bit weird and as soon as you get the first upgrades the game becomes very easy.

Talisman cover

Talisman

Never played this board game before. I'm just a few hours into this digital version. I just bought the base game, but plan to adquire some of the expansions available.

Tiny Civilization cover

Tiny Civilization

Another match 3 indie game. Very fun. Can achieve the 100% in about 5 hours.

Dungeons & Jewels cover

Dungeons & Jewels

Cool match 3 small indie game.

Onirim cover

Onirim

Free virtual version of the solitaire card game. The expansions are really cheap. Nice simple game.

UnderDungeon cover

UnderDungeon

Little action adventure indie game. 1-bit graphics, humour, charming NPCs. Combat felt a little bit clunky sometimes.

Final Fantasy VII cover

Final Fantasy VII

Last week I felt like replaying this great game in its PC version. Although I think I like IX better, this one is very close to it.

FEZ cover

FEZ

Revisiting this indie classic gem. Very chill and creative game. Hardcore puzzles to complete the 100%.

Yao-Guai Hunter cover

Yao-Guai Hunter

Slay The Spire clone, inspired in Chinese martial arts. Easier than STP but I'm enjoying it.

Wildfrost cover

Wildfrost

I am enjoying this game very much. I haven't finished it yet because it's a difficult game and I'm pretty bad at it but I'm loving it. It is a card game, with a very nice aesthetic. Don't get carried away by the reviews, it's a difficult game but very enjoyable and fun.

2Dark cover

2Dark

I wrote a whole game description here. Unique art style, creepy, gross. Had a lot of fun playing it.

Blossom Tales II: The Minotaur Prince cover

Blossom Tales II: The Minotaur Prince

A love letter to 2D Zelda games. I really enjoyed this one. In my opinion, better than the first game of the series, which had some annoying memory puzzles.

Rogue Heroes cover

Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos

I didn't knew the existence of this game until March 2023. I completed the 100% of it. It's a multiplayer coop adventure game (I played solo though). Heavily inspired by 2D Zelda games. It has procedurally generated dungeons but the variety isn't that big to be honest. Anyway it was a fun playthrough and I enjoyed it a lot.

Brotato cover

Brotato

Brotato is a top-down arena shooter roguelite. This little game is very addicting, shooting is automatic (inspired by Vampire Survivors). You have a bunch of characters to choose from with different stats and you have to survive a few waves. After each wave you can upgrade your stats and buy things from the shop. This game is perfect to play while listening to something in the background like a podcast or whatever.
