Stoicism in a nutshell

I don't usually watch anime, but I recently watched the Bersek series (the original from 1997). It has become one of my favorite series ever. Some key thoughts on it:

• Accept death
• Pain is inevitable
• Build your dream
• Help others along the way
• Be there for the weak
• Don't let your emotions control your mind
• Don't ignore love
• Extreme greed can destroy everything
• Your word is sacred
• Be loyal
• Train daily
• Betrayal comes from the closest people
• If you fall down, you stand up

I'm planning to watch the newest content and eventually read the manga.
