Bits of Unsolicited Advice
I recently watched a couple of videos related to this:
I want to do my own version, I'm 32, for some people I'm old, for some I'm young. Some are obvious, some are not, but anyway:
- Don't lit that first cigarrete
- Brush your teeth and use mouthwash
- Use a condom
- Read
- Write on paper
- If you feel bad, go to the doctor
- Go for a walk daily
- Kiss and hug your mother, she'll not be there someday
- Take care of your friends
- Stop watching porn
- "I have no time" is an excuse
- If you are drunk, don't text
- Your ex is not thinking about you, accept it and move on
- Things weren't as good as you remember them
- Learn to be alone; embrace loneliness
- Connections are very important, at work and life in general
- Failing is better than doing nothing, you always learn something
- Analyze your mistakes, learn from them and move on
- If you blame other people for everything, look at yourself
- Attitude is better than experience
- Put your phone away
- Don't lose yourself in the loophole of YouTube, Netflix, TikTok...
- Don't judge others, you don't know what they have been through
- You are always attractive to someone
- Be honest with yourself
- Be loyal
- Your word is everything
- Gossip is poison
- Resentment is poison
- Don't take anything personally
- Learn to listen
- If you don't have anything to say just keep your mouth shut
- Your parents are probably right
- Respect older people
- Listen to old people stories
- Read, watch and listen to all type of books, movies and music
- Watch the sunrise; watch the sunset; look at the Moon at night
- EVERYTHING is temporary
- Inner and mental peace is the ultimate goal
- Yesterday is gone; tomorrow doesn't exist
