About me

I'm a 32 years old guy from the south of Spain. I have been working as a DBA for the last 10 years, but I'm taking some time off at the moment, since I felt a little bit of burnout. I have always been passionate about computers related stuff since I was a kid, including programming, gamedev, internet... even though I haven't built anything spectacular yet. As a gamer, I grew up with Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color, Game Cube and PC. Fortunately my friends had Sony systems, so I could also enjoy PlayStation and PlayStation 2. Nowdays I like to explore the 16-bit games I couldn't enjoy at the time, specially Super Nintendo and MegaDrive (Sega Genesis). The catalog is so vast you always find a hidden gem. If I had to pick a few of my favourite games, I would include Ocarina of Time, Age of Empires 2, Commandos, Day of Defeat, Hollow Knight... Some of my favourite movies are Shutter Island, Oldboy, Fight Club, The Lord of the Rings... But I don't watch that many movies lately, I prefer crime documentaries, sometimes reality outdoes fiction. That's all for now, hope you enjoy your stay!
